Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
The cost is $10 per day. The $10 covers food, training treats, lodging and training. We charge by the week. So for example.. if you only want your puppy to stay through week 3 you will only be charged $210. To maximize your money make sure your puppy stays through the end of week 3. We work with the dogs daily.
Do I need to buy anything else?
Yes. You will need to purchase a leash and collar. We recommend a Lupine Combo Collar and a 4ft. Nylon Lead. We carry these collars and leashes at our pet resort.
How will I know what commands to use once I get my new puppy?
You will need to schedule an appointment with me to either pick up your puppy or for me to deliver your puppy. We will need a minimum of 1 hour to go over your new puppy packet and also the training commands.
Will my puppy remember these commands forever?
The old saying "if you don't use it, you'll lose it" is so true. It only takes 5 minutes a day to perfect/retain these skills. So work with your puppy everyday.
Will you keep up with my puppy's shots?
Yes. When you get your puppy he/she will have had all recommended innoculations for its age.
When will I need to let you know if I want training for my new puppy?
We only allow a few puppies out of each litter to stay for training. So it is a first come, first serve basis. You will need to let us know when you pick your puppy.
When do I pay for training?
You will need to pre-pay for training. Payment is due when you pick out your puppy and decide whether or not you would like training. You will also need to decide for how long at this time as well.
Who will train my puppy?
Myself and my business partner. We are both AKC CGC Evaluators and Trainers.
If I decide not to get the puppy, is my deposit and training refundable?
When you pick your puppy and request training, you are asking us to hold onto your puppy longer and pour our love, energy and time into this puppy. Furthermore, feed it, house it, crate train it, keep up with its vaccinations, and train it. Your deposit and training is non-refundable.
